Let’s see how to disable password complexity in windows 2008

First click start button then click administrative templates then click group policy management. 

Then go to the default domain policy then right click it and select edit.

Then go to the computer configuration then windows settings then click account policies.

In right hand side select password policy

Then double click and disable password must meet complexity requirement policy

Then press windows key plus R. In Run dialog box type gpupdate /force then click ok

That’s all now you can set simple passwords to your Active Directory users without password complexity.
